Moszna Castle tours: every way in, compared
Two purchases that do different things
The castle sells entry to itself. GetYourGuide sells the drive, the guiding and the return leg. If you have your own car and you are happy reading information boards, you need the first and not the second. If you are staying in a city and want somebody else to solve the transport, you want the second, and you should still expect the castle ticket to be handled separately unless the operator says otherwise on the booking page.
Moszna publishes its own price list in złoty, and the shape of that list explains how the site is organised. The park is one product, the chambers another, the towers a third.
- April to October, park only: 24 PLN, reduced 14 PLN.
- April to October, guided chambers plus park: 57 PLN, reduced 37 PLN. Unguided chambers plus park: 52 PLN, reduced 32 PLN.
- April to October, towers plus park: 44 PLN, reduced 28 PLN. Towers, unguided chambers and park together: 72 PLN, reduced 46 PLN.
- December to February the park costs nothing, towers plus park drop to 20 PLN (14), and guided chambers plus park to 33 PLN (23).
Ticket prices above are the figures Moszna Castle publishes on its own price list, checked in August 2026. The castle states it may change visiting hours and tour availability, so confirm on the official price list before you travel.
The castle also states that an entrance ticket to the palace and park grounds is required in addition to the chamber-tour ticket, so read the combined lines rather than the chamber line on its own. From Wrocław. About 111 to 125 km each way, roughly an hour and a half by road. Wrocław is where most visitors to Lower Silesia are already based, and the tour goes to Moszna and back without a second castle attached, so more of the day belongs to the building and the park.
From Katowice. About 114 km, roughly an hour and a half, and the shortest of the three drives. This one pairs Moszna with Pławniowice Palace, so you get a second Silesian residence in the same day without adding much road.
From Kraków. About 185 km, roughly two and a half hours each way. That is the long option by a clear margin, and it also carries the Pławniowice pairing. It works if Moszna is the reason you are travelling that day rather than an addition to one.

Whatever you book, aim to be at the gate in the morning. The castle recommends visiting the chambers between 9:00 and 15:30, and on Monday to Thursday it lists chamber tours only in the 9:00 to 12:00 block. Which Moszna Castle tour departs closest to the castle?
Katowice, at roughly 114 km and about an hour and a half by road, is the shortest of the three drives. Wrocław is similar in distance, and Kraków is the long one at about 185 km each way, which is roughly five hours of road in a return day.

Because they change with the season, the group and the operator. A number typed into this page would be wrong within weeks, so we let the GetYourGuide panels show the current price and dates instead. The only prices we print are the castle's own published PLN tickets.
Can I reach Moszna Castle without booking a tour?
